Peanut Butter Wolf started buying records in 1979, mixing and scratching in 1984, making beats in 1986, making records in 1990 and having his own Stones Throw Records in 1996.

Not bad. Since then the DJ and the label have gone from strength to strength. PB as a DJ and beat maker of international renown and Stones Throw as the West Coast home of progressive Hip Hop, Jazz and leftfield experimentation. Artists such as J Dilla, Madlib, MF Doom and Lootpack to name but a few have graced the roster over the years and the diversity of the talent he has offered up is testament to PB’s vision.
